Markus’ search to find exactly the right voice to do justice to his cover was nothing short of exhaustive. After many a month (and demo), that hunt ended at the door of singer Bev Wild. A relative electronic music newcomer, it proved to be the crucial tipping point in the realization his interpretation. Bev brings the track a vocal conviction way beyond her years, sublimating Kate’s inflections brilliantly and conveying every brutally truthful, painfully sensual ounce of ‘Running’s song”.

One of the most influential artist in electronic music is Markus Schulz. His Coldharbour distinctive sound has influenced thousands of young talents worldwide. Now Markus put his creative hands on the beloved Kate Bush masterpiece Running Up That Hill under his Dakota alias. On vocals is the newcomer Bev who did fantastic job delivering a very sensual performance that sounds quite different and esoteric from Kate Bush. She doesn't imitate she rather find herself in this highly inspirational song. The superb synthy layers are added next and slowly the track builds towards the anthemic hands in the air climax. You can expect big room trance Coldharbour style with fat dark vavooming basslines, thunderous drums and superb synthy hooks along with atmospheres and strings to make this an unforgettable listening experience. I must say though that I would expect more elements of the original synthy melody thrown in but Markus did something new out of the orignal. #PureGold #ThisisTrance Love IT10.0
