2016 has been a breakthrough year for Helsinki's Otto Yliperttula aka Yotto, picking up no fewer than four 'Essential New Tunes' from Pete Tong, plus an Annie Mac 'Hottest Record' on BBC Radio 1, winning support in industry tastemakers Jamie Jones, Laurent Garnier, Kölsch, Joris Voorn, Sasha and many more along the way.

Fire Walk is a magnificent slice of high class electronica that is not easy to categorise. It moves in and out of house, techno and even deep progressive trance. Haunting deep moody basslines, pounding techy drums and great vocal harmonies that add certain colour to the final puzzle. The strings are cinematic and very impressive along with the superb synthy hook that has that melodramatic but at the same time very epic feeling to it. Tranquil liquid sounds that run like water and wash away the pain and exhaustion. You feel inspired to get lost deep into the music and become one with the sound.
