The PAROOKAVILLE Festival was organised for first time in 2015 and manage to attract attention with its unique concept. In the same year won the award for the "Festival of the Year" and was nominated as "Best Newcomer Festival" in Europe. 2016 promises to be a much larger event with a confirmed lineup of over 150 DJs and was sold out in just 72 hours. The two-day festival is organised at the Airport Weeze on the Lower Rhine. Headlining this year's edition are the Dutch superstar Afrojack, probably the wildest American EDM Export Steve Aoki, Sweden musical marvel Axwell / \ Ingrosso and DJ legend Tiësto.
Another new feature this year is the festival anthem, written and produced by TWOLOUD & FRDY. TWOLOUD are one of the most played artist duo since their first release on Tiësto's label Musical Freedom at the end of 2013. Since then, they released more than 100 original and remixes in less than three years. FRDY is one of PAROOKAVILLE Residents and he has excellent musical taste and perfectly matched sets. The Community Track "Fix Me (PAROOKAVILLE Anthem 2016)" is undoubtedly catchy and provides the perfect foundation for an euphoric festival with 50,000 ravers confirmed for the two days.
