ADE 2016: Trio of top producers join the 2016 speaker line-up

Om’mas Keith, TommyD, and Luca Pretolesi will be talking 21st century studio life and timeless technique.

Following recent Keynote announcements for Daniel Miller and Molly Neuman, the latest additions to ADE's daytime line-up come in the form of three legendary producers. Grammy Award winner Om’mas Keith is making a second visit after appearing at the event in 2013, alongside TommyD, and Luca Pretolesi.

Pretolesi’s rise to fame came after mixing a track for a group called PeaceTreaty from Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak. Aoki loved the work and asked Pretolesi to mix and master his Wonderland album. The LP received a Grammy nomination, and since then Pretolesi has worked as an engineer with Diplo, Major Lazer, Jack Ü, Steve Aoki, Snoop Lion, Gareth Emery, Dada Life, Lil Jon, Calvin Harris, MakJ, E.A.S.Y., Morgan Page, Dillon Francis, KSHMR, Tiesto, and TJR.

A documentary of Keith’s life, called Across The Board – From Hollis to Hollywood, premiered earlier this month in New York. The film, produced by Red Bull Media House, features many of his artistic collaborators including Eryka Badu, Thundercat, Dolla Sign, Frank Ocean, John Legend and Kali Uchis.

Tommy D is just as at home working on underground tracks as he is in the pop world, with hits including Right Said Fred’s album Up, on which he wrote, produced and performed, The Bone Dance by Jeremy Healy’s E-Zee Posse, and Masters at Work’s Voices In My Mind. More recently he has contributed production work and string arrangments to tracks by Adele, Enya, Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher and Tinie Tempah.
