ADE 2016: Kickstarter’s head of music to keynote

Molly Neuman to take part in a special presentation on Kickstarter.

Following on from the announcements of business keynotes by Bruce Eskowitz, Anthony Saleh and Martin Goldschmidt, ADE is delighted to welcome Molly Neuman, who was previously VP of the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM).

I’d like to extend an invitation to all ADE delegates to come along to a special presentation on Kickstarter. Since 2009, Kickstarter has helped to bring over 22,000 music projects to life, including  new LPs, music documentaries, and even brand new instruments,” she said. “And in total, more than 10 million people have pledged over 2.3 billion dollars to Kickstarter campaigns. I’ll be discussing the realities of the Kickstarter Music team's top priority, which is all about helping artists, labels, distributors, and service providers connect with the fans that support their creative projects and innovation in music, as well as in every other creative category possible."

Alongside her role at A2IM, Neuman has held senior roles in label relations at Rhapsody International and eMusic. She also worked in both artist management and on the label side as both founder and owner of her own company, Simple Social Graces Discos, and as partner at Lookout Records. Additionally, she has served on the boards of SoundExchange and A2IM.

Date, time and venue for Neuman's keynote to be announced.
