Since making his Coldharbour debut in 2014, Omair Mirza has assembled an impressive portfolio of work, through both original and remix form. His next output for the label is his most important to date; his first vocal piece aided by Minneapolis songstress Avari, entitled Perfect Imperfection.
The Dallas native received plaudits for his trance and house fused pieces Chain Reaction and High Roller, and formed an important part of the second selection of remixes for Markus Schulz's inspired piece Destiny. With Perfect Imperfection, he opts for a driving bassline, leading towards Avari's beautiful harmonies and lyrics, and a hands-in-the-air groove to take the audience home.
A track 14 months in the making, Perfect Imperfection will attract those who love their trance with an appealing vocal. Omair and Avari's collaboration was worth the wait.
