REVIEW: Mike Shiver - Blinding Light (The Remixes) out on Captured Music

2016 is off to a cracking start here at Captured Music with a big remix package of one of our favourite releases of 2015 - 'Blinding Light' from label head honcho Mike Shiver. Signing up for remix duties are a number of our brightest Captured stars including Oen Bearen, Passenger 75 and Supernatet.

Oen Bearen is first up with a progressive, energetic, feel-good take on the original, followed up by Passenger 75 who brings the Trance feel as only he knows how. Rounding out the collection is Supernatet with an incredibly emotional, slightly deeper and darker prog mix.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Captured Music from Sweden delivers an exciting remix package on Blinding Light by the beloved dj and producer Mike Shiver. The fantastic versions will make you fall in love with the track even more. Firstly is the excellent Oen Bearen who does his best to impress with an interesting hybrid of progressive house and progressive big room trance with thumping wobbling basslines, pounding smashing drums and excellent colourful synthy riffs that create the explosive atmosphere that accommodates wonderfully the feel good vocal that we want to sing a long loudly. The climax is even better as the very original and memorable synthy riff unleashed and brings mayhem on the dancefloor. Passenger 75 deliver the uplifting remix that is quite short for uplifting version but still ultra strong for your pure trance needs. Energetic dynamic driving irresistible atmosphere with superb application of the feel good synthy themes along with the stunning vocal that makes you feel 20 years younger for sure. Wait for the brilliant breakdown that is long teasing and slowly baking up to push your senses to the limit. The hi-nrg uplifting melody clears the dark clouds and brings the Blinding Light of hope and freedom in our hearts. Lastly Supernatet version is an excellent melodic dreamy progressive house meets trance with that Eric Prydz touch to it. Packed with electronic themes, delicate melodies and sparkling arrangement will make you feel wanted on the dancefloor where we all belong!
