David Forbes serves up a delicious slice of Tech-edged Prog trance for Create's first release for 2016.
The scot teases us with a blossoming intro that shapes itself from a deep rolling bass and hugely satisfying metallic tech stabs. Once in the break, a beautiful melody takes over, lifting the mood before darkness once again washes over and the beats come back.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The legend David Forbes is back this time on Create Music with another classy release that is not to be missed. Sculpture is an excellent example of well balanced, superb conceived and perfectly executed progressive trancer that doesn't conform to given categories and transgress them easily by adopting elements from melodic and tech trance. Rolling drums, driving deep brooding basslines and some cool synthy themes on top. The breakdown is slow rising theme that allows big synthy riff to explode out of any proportion and make your days and night super colourful. Sublime pieces of melodies and wicked classic drum roll lead the track to the dark and menacing climax that goes moody and spacey with involving and truly interesting sounds that absorb the listener and turn him into part of the action. 10/10 #PureGold Love It
