REVIEW: Clameres - Quasar / Nova out on Colorize

Clameres returns to Colorize to kick off 2016 with his latest EP on the label, 'Quasar / Nova'. After an impressive 2015 with numerous polished releases, we welcome the Russian producer back with this perfectly balanced EP.

'Quasar' begins proceedings & shows the Colorize veteran's unique production skills with spacey pads, punchy kicks and warm percussive touches alongside a transporting, cosmic melody to form a beautifully driving yet relaxed opener.

'Nova's emotional energy brings a new side to Clameres' productions on Colorize with deep, raw and cavernous soundscapes. A little more stripped-back than 'Quasar', 'Nova' acts as a perfect end to a blissfully complete EP.

Clameres returns to Colorize with another expertly built EP from start to finish.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The impressive artist Clameres attempts successfully to bring colour to our grey moody rainy winter nights and days with his double bill Quasar and Nova on Colorize. Quazar is deep melodic progressive house with great percussion, deep pulsating basslines, chill out relaxing melodies and dark moody atmosphere. It's very danceable and very absorbing at the same time. Hypnotic imaginative production that awakes your senses straight away and carry you away for a revealing journey. Nova is even more laidback with spacey soundesign of great strings, cinematic atmosphere, superb drum programming and deep basslines with airy pads merged with ambient sounds and fantastic melancholic piano melody along with rain sound effects. Two must play future anthems! #PureGold 10/10 Love It
