REVIEW: Mokoa & Alex Brandt feat. GuitK - Find A Way out on The Bearded Man

The year was 1899. The musical world was being rocked by a battle that would echo from coast to coast of the United States. Two gentlemen, The Bearded Man and Scott Joplin were head to head in a war to become the official "King of Ragtime Writers". The two toured from saloon to saloon, banging their jams away on rickety, out of tune pianos, sweat dripping from their brows. See, most people believe that Mr. Joplin was unchallenged in this era, but that's simply not the case. The Bearded Man was hot on his heels, and the two squared off any chance they could get. The Bearded Man released his gem "Likker'd Up", and Scott Joplin followed with his all-time classic, "The Maple Leaf Rag". The Bearded Man fired back with "Hookers N' Booz" and Joplin returned in style with "Sunflower Slow Drag". The Bearded Man was ready to wow the ladies with his latest masterpiece "The Do-Rag", but BAM, 1902 rolled in and Joplin brought out "The Entertainer", solidifying his role as the undisputed king of ragtime. The Bearded Man hasn't played ragtime much since then, but when he met Mokoa & Alex Bandt, he taught them everything he knows. The result? "Find A Way".

Dimitri Kechagias review: The Bearded Man is a label that surprises with amazing tracks so far. The latest release by Mokoa & Alex Brandt featuring GuitK is called Find A Way. The track can be described as an emotional melodic deep electronic  house adventure with lazy smooth chunky wonky grooves, deep funky floating basslines, superb saxophone like melodies and piano themes to die for in one explosive package. You can add the very strong vocals with country music references and warm strings delivering a very memorable result that will stand out amongst the rest and will win the attention of many club goers and radio listeners as well.  Find A Way is warming relaxing melodic house at its very best! #PureGold Love it
