As London based Himbrecht makes perfect use of unfolding textures and his know-how to produce enthralling tunes, 'Lyra', 'The Fall', and 'Cave Diving' each blur the lines of deep house, techno, and any form of experimental interpretations of the music we love. Dimitri Kechagias review: Subjekt recordings has proved that is a label that you can trust if you don't search for cheap thrills and you like to go deeper under the surface. The latest release by Himbrecht is a magnificent EP packed with goodies waiting to be discovered and get played in radio shows and late night deep house sets. Herz EP includes 5 tunes with great aesthetics and open mind approach to music arrangement. Cave Diving is an excellent dreamy atmospheric moody deep house track with hypnotic feel and many great instruments that we don't hear often in deep house productions. Ferdinand is break beat at its very best with relentless drums and great atmospheric strings along with wobbly synthy hooks and vocal snippets that add the mystery. Unfortunate One is deep spacey moody with laid back grooves, deep haunting basslines and promising arrangement that invite you to discover it. Lyra is magical deep tech house beauty with xylophone melodies, piano themes and trancy feel as it manage to grab your attention and suck you in its magical kingdom. Lastly The Fall is even darker and moodier production with emotional piano themes and robotic vocals along with the superb strings. Electronic deep house at its very best! #PureGold Love It
