Dimitri: Can you mention your biggest achievements in your music career in 2015? 

Rowen Reecks: My personal biggest achievement is having my music played out by the biggest dj’s in the world. In 2015 I gained support from Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, Dyro, Blasterjaxx, Ferry Corsten, Showtek and many many more big DJ’s. 

Besides that releasing on labels like: Armada Music, Cr2 Records, Flashover Recordings & Big & Dirty Records was a dream coming true for me. 

Also the cooperation with Dance Therapy Management was a really big thing for me. Working with professionals and getting guided by some really experienced and nice people with a big plan ahead is a true dream coming true for me.



Dimitri: Do you like to cook? What is the best recipe that you cooked this year? If you don’t usually cook who is cooking it for you and which is your best food for 2015?

Rowen Reecks: I’m not a good cook at all haha. I know how to make some basic things like schnitzel, fries and spaghetti.

The art of mixing vocals. I always struggled with mixing vocals. This year I really deepen myself into mixing vocals, and I guess it paid off. 

23) Best piece of advice you got in relation to your career in 2015: 
I sat down with Tommie Sunshine during a studio session a few months ago. And we got into a really deep conversation about music careers in general. He gave me some good insights about what it takes in this scene. This was really inspirational for me so far!



24) Best hobby or activity that you spent a lot of time in 2015: 
Besides making music I love to play table-soccer. I do this every Friday in competitive level. For me it is a kind of relaxing after a busy week.

25) Best holiday destination for 2015 that you manage to visit this year either to relax or to perform in a club or festival:
I’ve been in Croatia and Mallorca this year. Both were really beautiful but I really fell in love with the Croatian sea. 

26) Best Movie of the year that may inspire you to compose a track: 
The Hunger Games Mockingjay pt. 1

27) Best online/PC/video game of the year that you have played this year?
FIFA 15 haha.

28) Best joke you heard this year related to electronic music:
This defo needs a Tiesto Edit.

Dimitri: Finally, 2016 is ahead of us would you like to tell your plans with your future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations, Dj gigs.

Rowen Reecks: Of course I want to keep growing. This means bigger releases and more shows. I got some interesting collaborations coming up and I hope 2016 will be a good year for me! Hard work pays off they said ;)
