REVIEW: Matt Fax - CNFS / Stuck out on Colorize

Proving that France is currently one of the frontrunners in the increasingly competitive Progressive House scene, and at such a young age, Matt Fax returns to Colorize with a sublime two-track EP to leave us all dumbfounded at his sheer talent once again.

Opening with the downright funky 'CNFS' Matt Fax explores an intriguing new edge to his production catalogue with a slowly building, truly Progressive masterclass full of sweeping FX, bouncing chords and, as is customary on a Matt Fax release, impeccable atmospherics.

Tying up the EP with 'Stuck', Matt Fax returns to familiar territory with a perfectly balanced slice of Progressive moving through deft FX, grooving melodies and lush chords.

Impressing once again, Matt Fax emphatically returns to Colorize and proves just why he's one of the underground's most prized talents.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Colorize is one of coolest labels around with some of the finest releases towards the deep end of the house and trance spectrum. One of the talent that is of course not to be missed is the super talented Matt Fax. Any track from him proves his ability to take you on board for a real journey that will make you feel a different person at the end of it. You can easily put it as life changing experience. CNFS is one of these type of tracks with warmth and euphoria that comes from the deepest grounds and reaches the surface inside you soul. Dark brooding basslines, electro pop infusions, chunky playful grooves, heavenly female voices and the finest colourful euphoric synthy hooks that you could ever ask for! The breakdown is melancholic and insightful with beautiful seawaves of synths build and building until there is no return along with fantastic break beat sequence underneath. Punchy and energetic in the deep sense will definitely put the right amount of energy in your night. Stuck on the other side is equally enchanting and sugar sweet. Fantastic laid back hypnotic grooves, reflexive basslines, beautiful heavenly female voices and even more beautiful synths that underline the track and add to its magnificent complexity and richness of sounds that represent the richness of emotions  that you get when you dance to the beat of these two irresistible crackers. #PureGold Love It
