Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb new talent Brian Magix debuts on AVA recordings with his Once In A Lifetime track. The original mix is a modern electro trancer with bouncy drums, aggressive electro touched basslines, mysterious airy pads and memorable synthy riffs running throughout the whole track. The build up is intense towards the breakdown that is long and atmospheric with romantic piano and opera like female voices. The main electroish synthy riff appears to build tension and reach the climax that is euphoric, epic but still with twisted and squeezed with originality. Yang duty is to transform the original into a massive big room cracker with straight to the point basslines, energetic pulsating basslines with sharp edges. The breakdown is characterised from the romantic and truly melodramatic theme.
