One of the electronic music's pioneering acts, Jean-Michel Jarre has continued to push the boundaries of electronica since the groundbreaking 'Deserted Places' and 'Oxygène' LPs announced his arrival on the scene four decades ago. 'Zero Gravity' sees him team with another pioneering figure, the late Edgar Froese of Tangerine Dream, for a hypnotic audio experience. Following a meeting of musical minds this year in L.A., Above & Beyond were drafted in for an anthemic club rework.
Drawing on Jarre's legendary sound, Above & Beyond energise the mix to stadium shaking heights; textured rolling basslines driven home through a punchy choice of percussion. Echoing the yin-yang structure of 2014's 'Hello', 'Zero Gravity' swells to an intense climax; volatile stabs and brooding chord changes creating a mesmerising remix.

It was an honour to work with these two legends of electronica on our remix of “Zero Gravity" - the idea was to draw on the early influences from their music combined with ideas from the track itself, and then inject some Above & Beyond into the mix."
