Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional producer Philthy Chit from Manchester is back with his track Reflect on Perfecto Black who he is also the A&R of the label as well and responsible for the tracks you see released on this top imprint. The track is definitely one of those stand out records that manage to trash categories and music styles dichotomies and come up with something completely different. The track Reflect is simply different as it combined rolling deep basslines, bubbly grooves, dark moody synths, cinematic strings and distorted pitched down vocal samples. It's one of those record that you can enjoy within a deep house set along with many Anjunabeats style selections but also its going to work in the progressive house of your trance set. Of course if you want something more hypnotic, melodic and spacey then better trust Gai Barone for the remix duties. He delivers the goods and proves that Italy is one of the countries that plays a very important role in the development of electronic music. His remix is even more deep as it works in the subconscious with some nice melodic synths that stay in the background along with the vocals. You close your eyes and open your soul to absorb the beauty of this awesome version that blooms like a rose in the melodic breakdown.
