REVIEW: Stefano Noferini Vs. Marlena Shaw - Woman Of The Ghetto out on Spinnin' Deep

Italian house veteran Stefano Noferini comes up with this extraordinary version of soul classic Woman Of The Ghetto. The original vocals by Marlena Shaw have gently assimilated into an easy going deep house groove, with only subtle drums, effects and vocal snippets doing the work. House music like it’s supposed to sound!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Spinnin' Deep is becoming one of the hottest deep house imprints at the moment with wide variety of house releases. The latest one by Stefano Noferini who has dedicated his life to house music is called Woman Of The Ghetto . It is a wonderful melodic deep house underground gem that manage to incorporate so successfully the excellent vocals by Marlena Shaw that have been sampled many times by various producers but Noferini I think he did marvelous job with them as allowed them to shine and bring their magic upon the deep house smooth basslines, the tribal latin grooves and dark synths. With jazz influences and relentless hypnotic rhythm is truly back to basics underground house smasher. #PureGold Love It
