Dimitri Kechagias review: Zouk recordings is back with the much awaited remix package of the beloved anthem Awake. The superb epic progressive house anthem by Killogy & Matthew White remixed perfectly in 3 different and unique ways. First is the Jakko remix that has already support on Armin's radio show ASOT so you can easily understand that is one of those crossover versions that can stand beautifully in progressive house and big room trance dj sets. Great percussion, pounding basslines, fat rhythmic drums and melancholic breakdown with piano and emotional strings followed by the pizzicato style euphoric synthy infused climax. Angelika voice is absolutely mindblowing that can cause an earthquake and is impossible to stay cold and distanced when she sings. Pissken remix moves on the Hardwell style direction with aggressive electro touched basslines, rolling drums and great breakdown that takes full advantage of Angelika's heavenly performance. Great piano melody and build up towards the explosive crowd shaking and festivals jumping climax. Lastly Sunstars remix starts with deep pounding basslines and lead us on the super fine melodic breakdown with dubstep infusions followed by the usual monstrous style festivals electro freaked basslines. Top notch package but what is missing is a Future House style version. #PureGold Love It
