REVIEW: Alex Adair - Make Me Feel Better incl remixes & music video out on B1 recordings / Germany

"Make Me Feel Better" is the debut single from the 21-year-old British producer Alex Adair. Presented by Annie Mac, Zane Lowe and MistaJam on Radio 1 Xtra and 1 in the UK, has "Make Me Feel Better" collected over 3 million plays to date online and allows him to do remixes for artists such as Jessie Ware, Ed Sheeran and Ella Eyre.

Alex's music moves between Tropical House and Electro relaxed and with the support of leading YouTube channels like The Sound You Need Adair has been compared to the likes of Kygo, Caribou and Ryan Hemsworth. For GSA is under contract with the very successful label B1 recordings. "Make Me Feel Better" is soulful electro sound that wraps around looped vocals.

Adair produced "Make Me Feel Better" originally as part of its "Creative Music Technology" module at Canterbury University, where he had to submit music that represented various epochs (the track its contribution for the category was modern music). Curiously, rejected from the University for a publication - so he put the track on Soundcloud and from that moment exploded enthusiasm. Meanwhile exempt from full-time study, Adair currently living in the countryside in West Sussex, holed up in his studio cave, making music and experimenting with sound design.

The seclusion and the background of a classical education meet Adair's productions with beguiling musicality. Although his music is at home on dancefloors, he makes his records not for the clubs, and as for the limited number of remixes that he accepts, he always produces a first mixed signal before it appeals to a project final. "Make Me Feel Better" is getting ready to bring him in the spring of 2015, a veritable hit, will be followed by their own releases and later in the year (probably) also remixes for other artists.

Remixes for "Make Me Feel Better" come from Klingande, Russ Chimes and Don Diablo & CID.

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's time for another huge mainstream success that electronic music community should be proud  out. The awesome up and coming artist Alex Adair presents his magnificent Make Me Feel Better. The original mix is superb relaxing summery holiday style house with wonderful piano melodies, chunky grooves and fantastic xylophone melodies, piano chords along with cool vocal sample that simply makes you feel better.  Klingkande remix is a driving deep house version with electronic melodies, extensive country influenced guitar riffs and groovy soulful elements while the piano melody and the vocal keep reminding us that summer is not so faraway. So let the inhibitions go and start dancing along with your cat if you don't have a loved one. The unstoppable Don Diablo & CID deliver the fantastic future house version perfect for mainstage house sets. Old school 90's influences, UK Garage house touches passed through the Dutch hit filter and the result is a thunderous version. #PureGold Love It
