Eternity Recordings return from a hiatus to bring you a huge slice of funky electro. Young Norwegian producer Espen Lorentzen returns under a new alias, known as Spenster, to present an EP which will knock your freaking Yoiks off!
Lead title ‘New Yoik’ is an incredibly distinctive production, with clever synth melodies and vocal samples that can only be described as (the title suggests) ‘Yoiks’. These creatively thought out elements combine with a jackin’ electro bassline groove laced with resonating acid, creating a hefty piece of dancefloor action with plenty of dynamics.
Backup track ‘Lazerfunk’ is a perfect alternative to those little ‘Yoiks’. It’s another synth heavy, catchy number based around one almighty infectious main hook that will get deep into your head!
