In charge for the clubbier kind of music released on our label, FORT ARKANSAS already reveal their third installment on our imprint. HYPNOTIZING holds everything the title promises and a lot more.
Be prepared for a very unique piece of modern club house music that is difficult to label in only one specific genre of house music. Let's say the guys successfully combined the sounds of classic and groovy house music with some fresh tech house textures as well as some techno arpeggio licks and synth stabs. The rolling nu disco bass line reminds us of some old vintage house music but still gives the flavor of an up-to-date club track. All together this charming track is another promising step in that young fellows career, that we will for sure watch out in 2015.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Enormous Tunes is back with another must have production that certainly doesn't sound like all the other deep house/indie dance or nu-disco tracks. Fort Arkansas delivers a very original production called Hypnotizing that is a superb prime time upfront deep house/nu disco beauty with chunky techy grooves, metallic raw basslines, warm piano themes, cinematic strings and old school melodies and organ riffs that give you the impression of a track that moves in the present with grounded influences on the past but with the eyes and heart to the future. Sometimes the title of the track sums it up well and Hypnotizing will do exactly what the title says as it samples on the most classic vocal samples that we have heard many times before but on this track takes a special meaning for sure. Quality eclectic house revival on Enormous Tunes. Love It
