REVIEW: Tom Rogers - Frozen out on Monster Force

London native DJ / Producer Tom Rogers pulls no punches as he drops a super solid debut, which took us by surprise when this arrived in our inbox.

A pure energy rush from the very first beat, ‘Frozen’ is as sturdy as a 140 trance production can get. Tight, tough beats and bass lines stand toe to toe with throbbing acid lines, whilst composed female vocal hooks along with razor sharp stabs keep the tension firmly locked on course to unfold the piercing main hook!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Monster Force had a terrific year with high quality trance releases that are supported constantly by top Djs like Armin van Buuren. The brand new release by Tom Rogers called Frozen is straight to the point uplifting trance at its purest with that dirty edge that makes it so tasty as well. Tough thunderous energetic basslines that drive the track foward while the pounding pulsating beat  form the strong foundation that acid overtones are coming to sit nicely on top and slowly the various melodic synthy plucks are added. The breakdown is magnificent with great small details, heavenly female vocals, cinematic chords and superb piano chords while underneath the massive synthy riffs are unleashed wild and free to inject energy to your body, mind and soul. Long breakdown is the order of the day here without making you feel bored or not knowing what to do. The classic drum roll effect is used to bring the beat back and lead the track to its euphoric feel good climax that will please any trance lover out there without being cheap. It is rather complex production with great technical skills involved so this is trance at its best. #PureGold Love it
