Who's Afraid Of 138?! that was born out from Armin van Buuren's phrase coined in his show ASOT presents the superb collaboration between Ben Nicky and Standerwick for the brilliant track Drop. The track has a single word title but is actually quite complex and very original in its construction. It starts with melodic psy trance meets tech trance first part that gives you the impression of an aggressive track that will focus on the rough basslines but those expectations thankfully are not fulfilled because the track when the breakdown comes is transformed literally into a trance swan or as the track puts it "She Looks Like An Angel". With beautiful heavenly vocals like singing lullaby maybe, sweet piano melody that is melancholic and sad supported by wonderful cinematic strings and atmosphere that transfer you to a mythical land of positivity and endless possibilities. When the subbass arrives accompanied by the main uplifting synthy hook you are on board towards the full on uplifting climax that is absolutely brilliant as we wanted to be. Hands in the air with smile in our faces and soulful sounds that connect with your soul straight away. After a short breakdown the track moves to its concluding melodic psy tech trance section that is tougher and freaking out! #PureGold Love iT
