Name: Maria Healy
Location: Dublin, Ireland

Dimitri: Can you mention your biggest achievements in your music career in 2014 as dj & producer, label owner, radio host and your personal life if it is something that you wish to share with our readers?

Maria Healy: 2014 was a great year for me.  I feel I really hit the jackpot getting my track ‘Atlantis Calling’ signed to my favourite label ‘Subculture’, then followed by a play at ASOT 650 and at Cream in Amnesia, Ibiza.

I spent 4 months in Ibiza as well, and I managed to bag myself a gig at Judgement Fridays, @ Es Paradis.  It was a great achievement playing at one Ibiza’s super clubs.  Ibiza was also where I met Woody Van Eyden, which led me to signing for his ‘Music and Artist Agency’.  I feel that this was the next step for me to progress, and I’m already excited for 2015!

Dimitri: 2014 was packed with releases from so many different styles, which Electronic Music style you believe is the absolute Electronic Music Style Of 2014 in the mainstream indifferent if you like it or not. Why you believe this style became so successful in 2014?

Maria Healy: To be honest, I don’t even listen to the mainstream stuff.  I turn a blind eye to it.  Sometimes ignorance is bliss eh?

The reason, perhaps it was so successful is due to the fact, the bigger artists have changed their style.
I think it was still a great year for the uplifting / banging trance. There has been some MEGA releases this year.
