Anjunabeats is the label of continuous success stories at the top of the beatport trance chart as every release is so special and most importantly against the grain, forward thinking tracks that lead the scene rather than following trends. One of the real pioneers and trendsetters in the trance scene are Super8 & Tab from Finland. Their brand new anthem is called No Frontiers and features the heartfelt vocals of one of the best singers in the electronic dance music scene and that is the one and only Julie Thompson. The original mix starts all chunky, groovy, electro trancy with grungy dirty edges. The track becomes more mellow and sweet from the moment that Julie's heavenly vocal is introduced and wins our hearts instantly. For me the big surprise is Jerome Isma-ae remix as he presents a much more melodic sound that will crossover to progressive house and progressive trance as well. He applies his well known bouncy groove and the massive deep throbbing bassline while on top he adds some hints of the main melodic theme. The breakdown starts with the piano melody and the hair raising appearance of Julie's vocals followed by the euphoric classic trance synthy stabs. His climax does the surprising twist and rather than going for a less melodic section, he brings back the euphoric synthy theme along with the piano melody on top of his thunderous beats. For the very first time Jerome delivers his full on euphoric progressive version that will enthuse those who play the mainstage sound in case the original sounds too trancy in their ears. #PureDiamond.
