Dimitri Kechagias review: The upcoming and quickly rising to the top duo 2Symmetry manage to attract the attention of the legend Paul Oakenfold and we all know that Paul has incredible radar for new talents so his investment on 2Symmetry pays off as they provide to the trance worshippers the fantastic deep dark progressive trance meets house tracks Loophole & Nordkapp. Well known for their more upfront sound the talented guys deliver two stunning productions that capture the essence of what Perfecto Black attempts to achieve as a label. First of all Loophole is a nearly 9 minutes epic deep dark progressive trance hymn that starts with cool long intro with the main synthy lead and vocal samples coming slowly to the surface and leading the track to the main section of the track. With simple basic ingredients and warm analogue feel Loophole gives you the impression that was produced back in the mid 90's along with all the trance classics of the EYE Q era. The main synthy hook is supported by darker psy trance friendly themes that makes the track even more mysterious and spacious. The second part of the track after the luscious atmospheric breakdown that includes optimistic euphoric colourful piano chords and hypnotising synths moves to the more upfront progressive trance sound with dynamic synthy leads, psy trance synths, vocal samples and intense energy that will move big crowds without doubts despite belonging in the deep territory. On the other hand Nordkapp is an excellent progressive track with disco-esque infused bassline, pulsating groove and classic trancy synth theme that runs throughout the track giving that hypnotic feel to the track. Nordkapp is relentlessly building the tension leading to a very Ibiza influenced breakdow wth optimistic synthy hooks, electrified themes and distorted synthy riffs. The climax is full on hands in the air case in the more deep and subtle direction of course. Two must play progressive winners that are highly recommended. #PureGold Love iT
