REVIEW: SMN - Sunday Symphony out on M Recordings / Armada Music

Dutch producer SMN (previously Soul Conspiracy) is kicking off his new alias with ‘Sunday Symphony’ -- a wicked and deep tune that’s all about the chill weekend vibe.

Dimitri Kechagias review: M Recordings is another success story for Armada Music. The deep house / techno record label that manage to establish its own unique sound and credible identity that many respect worldwide. The latest release comes from SMN from the Netherlands and is called Sunday Symphony. The track has already great reactions on soundcloud and people seems to be divided between those who like it on lazy afternoons and on those that can imagine it being played in a festival as well. The truth is that Sunday Symphony is an open ended deep tech house beauty that can be played in whatever situation you think is the most appropriate and you can be sure that will grace your dj set with high class and great positive vibes too. Superb deep basslines, bubbly groove, analogue like synths, great percussion with like drums, addictive hypnotic melodies and cool house diva vocal samples as well. The breakdown in contrast with the first part is more optimistic, positive, colourful and seems to offer the needed resolution. The climax continues on the same dark moody sound but very soon the emotional synths from the breakdown are added to bring the light at the end of the dark and long tunnel. It follows the traditional progressive house sound that has been pioneered by great Dutch artists like 16Bit Lolitas but with deeper sound. Its #PureGold ear candy not to be overlooked. Love IT
