Atop its platform of marching drums, hissing, industrious FX, clave percussion and a hyper-enigmatic once-heard/never forgotten harpsichord riff, Nic, Bossi & Jerome use 70s & 80s emulating synths to generate ‘Telefunken’s feel. Panning, echoing & delaying its square waveform sonic, backed by crowd-flaming pitch-bends, it finally drops its Kraftwerk-ian lead-line with a TKO effect.

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's time for another brilliant edition of the magnificent festival Electronic Family that takes place in Amsterdam that is one of the most sweet cities in Europe. The top festival manage to build excellent reputation and draws visitors from all over the globe as the line up is truly stellar. For this year the anthem is the brilliant new anthem by the legends of trance Cosmic Gate and the legend of progressive house Jerome Isma-Ae who is considered to be one of the most influential with his very unique and groundbreaking style. As can you can easily imagine Telefunken combines the sound of the two well known producers who deliver one of the biggest trance anthems of the year so far. It is neo progressive trance with progressive house references as well. They apply punchy bouncy aggressive in your face basslines, marching style powerful rocking kicks that make you feel like thunderstorm is coming and will crash on the dancefloor very soon. The breakdown reveals the fantastic Kraftwerk influenced synthy riff that is simply hairraising and I can imagine the crowd go ballistic when will appear loud and proud on the dancefloor or festival arenas. The climax rather than playing around with the melody goes truly tech trance focused on the harsh cranking bassline that sounds like a lyon ready to attack its victim!
