REVIEW: Thomas Datt - 1983 (Remixes) out on Discover Records / Recoverworld

The second part of Thomas Datt's recent single remix package features the track '1983'.

Taking up the reigns is the excellent Manuel Le Saux and Astuni - who together create this epic, peak-time interpretation.

It's hard to think of a more prolific producer at the moment than Peter Hulsmans, who once again delivers a nailed-on floor-filler.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top record label Discover records presents the brand new remixes on Thomas Datt retrosounding single 1983. The first remix comes from the safe hands of Manuel Le Saux and Astuni. Their remix is full on uplifting euphoric trance at its very best and at its highest quality of course. Energetic and driving straight forward banging trancer with huge euphoric synthy leads in the breakdown that recreate the original melody in truly epic hands in the air feel good style. The climax is truly gorgeous with the various synthy layers and epic strings creating a magnificent colourful soundscape that travel your spirit to faraway places. If you love the Pure and undiluted trance sound that remains faithful to the original trance tradition and truly underground as well, better don't miss this smasher. Peter Hulsmans from Belgium is one of the most talented new generation trance producers who build slowly his reputation and on this occasion he does something magnificent. He offers a totally different view to the original as he moves on the proglifting trance path with pumping bouncy techy grooves and highly energetic basslines while on top the original melody remain intact to drive the track forward. His very cool breakdown is soothing and slowly builds anticipation towards the full on euphoric hair raising climax that will move big crowds for sure. It sounds very classy and retro with modern twist. Two top remixes to keep the trance family happy! #PureGold Love iT
