1-Stefanie
2-Poseidon
Eximinds have really started to come into their own lately, and the hard work of these Muscovites has gained them the attention of not only the biggest trance DJs, but also of Armin van Buuren himself.
Both of these outstanding tunes are fitting for the ASOT brand, as they are exactly what large-venue trance should be all about.
‘Stefanie’ strikes a delicate balance between uplifting and wild, while the deep bass of ‘Poseidon’ is perfect to rumble more than a few concert halls.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Track after track ASOT recordings proves why is considered to be the definitive and leading trance label with the highest quality releases from the widest spectrum as possible of what we term as trance. ASOT presents the brand new Eximinds EP and we can only be extremely satisfied with the two tracks included that both gained already huge support from the biggest trance jocks including of course Armin van Buuren. Stefanie & Poseidon are the two tracks under inspection on this EP and must be said from the very start that we deal with bangers that will do big damage and you should treat them with caution and extra care cause you never know what is going to happen when the energy rush will be unleashed from them while you play them on your dj set. Poseidon is a powerful headbanger of the highest quality. It starts straight to the point with just short intro sequences where bass and kicks are melted along with heavenly voices. The main section sounds agressive and in your face with freaked out basslines, synthy stabs and fantastic percussion. The breakdown is emotional and very atmospheric with various vocal samples that add the etherial atmosphere. Of course the kick strikes back and slowly the track builds up towards the anthemic climax with fantastic euphoric hands in the air melody that sounds like coming from Russia's music heritage. 2nd top tune is Stefanie that sounds more melodic, blissful and mesmerizing without loosing the agressive head banging edge that is requirement to catapult the international dancefloors. The synthy riffs come at the top of the fat groove and the thundering bassline and slowly we land within the dreamy relaxing smooth breakdown with cool classical music inspired theme that leads the track towards its massive hands in the air climax. Floating and rough Eximinds offering another mastercall on how to arrange an anthem that can be gentle and rough at the same time! #PureGold Love iT
