REVIEW: Bellini - Samba Do Brasil incl official music video out on Polydor / Universal Music Germany

1997 Bellini managed their breakthrough with the single Samba de Janeiro. Worldwide, the single sold over 5 million copies. In Germany the song reached # 2 on the singles chart and held a total of 13 weeks in the Top Ten. Bellini received an ECHO in the category "Artist / group-in or National (Dance / Techno)" for this song.

The band was set up at the World Cup in Brazil with new members and a completely new version is published under the title "Sambo Do Brasil" in May.

The original version is a great tribal electro pop track with samba elements, live drums and great vocals that will be a bit hard to learn by heart but sound really awesome and super sexy. Aboutblank & KLC deliver their progressive house make over with the well known trumpet riff in the breakdown, live drums and the of course just the chorus of the vocals and not the full lyrics. The drop is rougher, hard,aggressive and ready made for mainstage sets at the most famous festivals. If you want a version that is tough enough but with the well known elements of the original as well this version includes them all. If you search for an even harder punchier version then B-Case is in the case and service his magnificent full on sharper remix with melodic breakdown with just the chorus of the vocals followed by ultra rough and super sharp beats to blow your mind.
