The well known tribute project to the decade of unforgettable hits and music So80's is back with a very special project. Blank & Jones had the idea to reconstruct the classic ZTT record label classics that was founded in 1983 by NME journalist Paul Morley and legendary record producer/wizard of sonic Trevor Horn and businesswoman Jill Sinclair. The label's name was also printed as "Zang Tumb Tuum" and "Zang Tuum Tumb" on various releases. ZTT included in its rooster seminal groups like Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Propaganda, and Art of Noise. Blank & Jones big fans and admirers of the original recordings decided to put their creative hands on them. What is so amazing and really outstanding on that project is that Only original multi parts were used to create the various new versions. No additional instruments, but lots of outtakes and extra sounds which Blank & Jones found on the original tapes. Trevor Horn himself has commented about this Blank & Jones initiative to reconstruct and introduce to the digital world the ZTT Golden classics: "I Love The Blank & Jones Work - awesome !" It's great album for all the older fans of the 80's but with Blank & Jones modern spin based on original analogue sounds and only with the addition of some echoes and reverbs the tracks sound current and ready to be enjoyed by the younger generation as well.
