Uplifting, energetic and solid. Three words that perfectly describe the up and coming EDM talent SL8. His first releases made sure SL8 had a massive jumpstart. The Jochen Miller collaboration South Point was aired on the biggest dance radio stations and was supported by the likes of W&W, Eric Prydz, Ummet Ozcan and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
Shortly after his debut, SL8 teamed up with La Fuente to revamp the all-time classic Fancy Fair, released on Doorn Records, hammered by Knife Party, Nervo, Fedde Le Grand, Calvin Harris, Nicky Romero, Dash Berlin and Sander van Doorn.
For his third offering Drippin’, SL8 turned to Powerhouse Music and it’s a peak-time rocker!
Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb record label Powerhouse Music slowly builds its reputation and it seems to be one of those labels that will have first role in 2014. The brand new release by the very talented SL8 is definitely an anthem that will crack the codes and create havoc on the dancefloor. It combines elements that are popular at the moment on the dancefloor by delivering a huge PowerBanger that will be hard to stop its attack on the dancefloor. Sweat thirsty club animals will have amazing moments on the mainstages of the big open air festivals that this amazing track has secured a position without second thoughts. It starts all bouncy and pumping until to land on the breakdown that this sweet bells like melody appears to offer the mellow moment of the track. Very soon the beat is coming back for more and on top for it the cool percussion melody like Animals appear but in a very surprising and unique way. Its straight forward epic house anthem with recognisable elements and undeniable strength and immediate impact on the dancefloor. Love iT
