Following sky-high chart positions, becoming the ‘Essential New Tune’ on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show and gaining support by the likes of Seth Troxler, Laurent Garnier, Jody Wisternoff, Dusky and many more, UK’s John Monkman makes his hotly anticipated Armada debut. ‘Now Or Never’ is a heavy-loaded weapon of tech-house, prog delight and funky-ness, bound to rule dance floors deep into 2014.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Armada Music never stops to impress with its decision to explore different territories like the deep house scene. John Monkman comes on Armada Music with his very strong and super solid house smasher Now or Never. Deep basslines, funky techy chunky crunchy beats, old school piano chords, chopped and distorted vocal samples along with harp melodic layers and cinematic strings. The result is a late night trip and an enjoyable ride through the urban city under the sky and the colorful neo lights. Its one of those tracks that quickly stands out and attracts the attention. Locked in its groove and tottaly carried away by it Now or Never is a real jewel for the new generation of deep melodic sensual, sexy and very erotic house music back to the roots of the beloved genre. Danceable and playful but very relaxing and retro spacey at the same time. Highly recommended. Love iT
