Majai consists of Mark Kruger and Anna Sennikova. The pair met in 2001 in Washington DC and discovering their mutual drive and passion for electronic music formed the group shortly afterwards. Anna is a classically trained musician with a degree in audio engineering and Mark first cut his teeth with a successful Djing career while later progressing into Song writing and Production.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional duo Majai will always be remembered from their classic Lightwave. They finish off 2013 in great style with their magnificent track Code. If you read the lyrics published along this review you will easily understand that their words are deep and meaningful trying to encode and decode love that is so simple but so hard emotion to fully understand when it happens and why it appears with certain people. Their production values are really high and you can expect a really beautiful balearic progressive trancer that is colourful, highly enjoyable and very danceable of course. Chunky groovy bubbly beats, driving energetic basslines, warm strings and undeniable groove. The playful synthy melody comes to the surface with big bang and drive us nicely in the calming soothing breakdown that blissful melodies become the perfect soundbed for the female vocals to shine and crawl under our skin and talk straight with your heart. The huge synthy riffs are revealed and everything is ready for the climax to happen. Full on euphoric hands in the air drop with superb vocals on top to sing a long and make you easily identify with the lyrics and recognise your personal experience to them. Of course if you would like to concentrate on the melodic content the original version without the vocals will become your favourite.Personally is hard to imagine this track without the delicate vocals.Love iT
