Now out on the Avanti imprint is K.S.Y.’s Happy People E.P. Happy is certainly the right word for this E.P. with it’s upbeat progressive house sound.
Russian DJ K.S.Y. is known in the EDM scene by his melodic progressive sound with elements of deep- en tech house, making him also known outside the Russian border.
Mid nineties he started his career as a DJ on dance radio station Techno FM, but transferred from the studio to the decks after just a few years. In his home country K.S.Y. has been in the top 40 of best Russian DJ’s for a couple of years now and also a frequent guest on DFM radio. Besides performing a lot, K.S.Y. is writing and producing his own original music and manages his own label.

K.S.Y. brings on the table two must play anthems Happy People and Come On. Happy People is a very functional progressive house bomb that has so much energy and superpowers that can even help spacecrafts to take off. Banging beats, booming in your face basslines and euphoric happy synths to bring wide smile in your face. Feel good to the maximum sequence followed by hard as nails bass focused heavy drop to smash your soundsystem. Come On is tailor made for huge open air festivals without doubts. Its starts on progressive house sound fashion with 90's eurodance style synths and then the drop is hardstyle / harddance influenced for those moments that you want to touch the sky and music is about to encourage you to make your wish come true. Great little sequence after the 2nd breakdown that is really melodic with trancy voices and synths but very soon the hardstyle fearful bass is about to return. I can not imagine big room sets without these smashers with the seal of approval from Avanti! Love IT
