It's a welcome return to a familiar face for regular Coldharbour Recordings followers, as another Brazilian carves an EP full of grooves, energy and catchy melodies. Enter Sao Paulo's Klauss Goulart.
With previous bangers under his belt such as Turbulence and No Man's Land, Klauss presents his first work for the label in over two years. Leading track Absolute Chaos needs little introduction - thanks to be an almost ever-present on Markus Schulz's playlists since the tail end of the summer season. With regular plays in his solo and New World Punx livesets, as well as a regular requester on Global DJ Broadcast, the track has a simple yet effectively addictive melody that will creep inside your head with ease. And with a tough outer surface either side of the melody shining, it's essential fuel for any liveset.
Legions is one which will catch the attention of the big room lovers, with a tough rugged bassline and an unrelenting melody boasting plenty of power. However, Nayana could well prove to be a hidden gem for many, showcasing Klauss' trancier talents and very warmly received during a recent Global DJ Broadcast debut.

First of all is the title track Absolute Chaos and here we deal with a powerbanger that contains all the elements to make it perfect for the current floors. Deep haunting basslines, pumping bouncy beats and huge euphoric synthy stabs that will cause Chaos and hysteria as no human brain can easily stand still when this will be played. Proglifting neo trancer at its most straightforward and effective of course. Second top notch track is the playful Legions that starts with wonky basslines, chunky groovy beats and lands in a massive breakdown with epic euphoric synhs, cinematic strings and mouthwatering build up that nicely lead us on the full on euphoric hands in the air climax. You can easily imagine progressive trance and even progressive house djs playing this banger as it sounds perfect for mainstage festival sets. For me the real deal is the magnificent Nayana. Its huge turbo charged action packed progressive trancer tha recalls great unforgetable Coldharbour classics from the past. The breakdown reveals a huge orchestral classical music synth that will bring to your mind Adagio for Strings.
