REVIEW: Tiësto featuring BT - Love Comes Again (2013 remixes) out on Magik Muzik

1. Blasterjaxx Remix
2. Exodus & Hugo Rizzo Remix

Not one, but two great remixes of Tiësto and BT’s classic ‘Love Comes again’. The first one clearly has the Blasterjaxx signature electro house sound signed all over it. Exodus & Hugo Rizzo have also transformed the track from trance to thumping electro house.

Blasterjaxx, a Dutch DJ duo consisting of Thom Jongkind (22) and Idir Makhlaf (21), are quickly rising to the top. After releasing their ‘Reborn EP’ in 2012, thing really started to take of for the duo, as Laidback Luke signed the tracks to his Mixmash Records. The EP became first place in the Beatport top 100 and received huge support of Tiësto, Diplo, Steve Aoki, Dada Life, Robbie Rivera and many more. In 2013 Blasterjaxx experienced yet another highlight in their relatively young career, producing the ‘Loud & Proud’ single together with Billy the Kit. At this point the track is signed to Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, who in addition asked the guys to perform at his Musical Freedom party in Miami. Blasterjaxx are definitely ready for their big break.

For the occasion Exodus teams up with Portuguese colleague Hugo Rizzo, who is also signed to Exodus’ Peak Hour Music label. They both have experience of playing for huge audiences all over the world and received support of Avicii, Fedde Le Grand, Tiësto, Chuckie, Hardwell, Paul van Dyke, to name a few. They are definitely up for the task of remixing a classic like this!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Everything starts with a T and in our case is Tiesto who manage to put his stamp upon the EDM culture and become the superstar idol that many young djs  wish to reach its status and levels of high creativity. Tiesto and his creative team at Black Hole recordings were the first to device the idea of one dj show in his In Concert sold out events or the first to release a DVD about his everyday activities as dj. Tiesto tracks from his Black Hole catalogue will be played again and again and will be remixed by many young talents who wish to attract attention by putting their hands on sacred classics like Love Comes Again featuring the awesome vocals by BT. Now the incredible upcoming banging and booming duo Blasterjaxx deliver their second remix on Tiesto after their superb remake of Adagio For Strings. Their version is loud, proud and in your face. The beats are meaty and bouncy, the basslines are raw and rough influenced from the hard dance scene. The vocal parts are in here to help the crowd identify with it and sing a long. Its the type of track that you drop in your set and the crowd will go completely and utterly ballistic. Brilliant make over comes from the hands of Exodus & Hugo Rizzo who move on a very different direction as their remix stays faithful to the original a lot and applies even the hair raising big room synthy of the original that is ommited on Blasterjaxx version. Their translation has an electro house meets trance feel so I believe that many trance jocks will adopt it in their sets. Powerful, emotional and absolutely prime time weapon that updates the classic on  2013 standards! Love iT
