Taken from his forthcoming album ‘Tomorrow Never Was’, this is Majera’s 2nd release on Touchstone. Majera, a.k.a. Engin Ogutveren has been bubbling away quietly in the trance world for around 8 years now, but this is his time to shine. ‘Te Echo De Menos’ is built around a glorious lead melody which is poignant yet uplifting - something to close the eyes and exhale a long breath to. The Original Mix is initially pensive and somber, the mysterious keyboards weaving their way in and out of an understated backing. Majera smoothly adds more layers to the mix while never crowding it, and then at the drop the full majesty of the music is realized with a big-room pleasing lead synth. No massive drum rolls here, just clean and honest trance music to lift the soul. First up on remix duties are Belfast’s Walsh & McAuley, celebrating their new Pure sound with a fantastic remix that ups the pace with sharp stabbed synth layers and a fat rolling bassline. The beautiful strings at the breakdown herald the arrival of that lead riff which totally delivers on every level when the track drops. Last but not least, Egypt’s Hazem Beltagui shows just why he is becoming so much in demand as a remixer at the moment, with an unfussy peak time trance remix. Again staying faithful to the original elements, Hazem adds some muted piano notes to an extended breakdown, drawing things out just enough to build the tension… then it all goes off. Massive.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings presents another must have trance package that you will simply adore if you follow the Pure Trance Movement. Majera provides his incredible production Te Echo De Menos supported by two very strong remixes by Walsh & McAuley and Hazem Beltagui. The original mix is a driving progressive trancer with techy beats, dirty driving basslines and fantastic breakdown that nicely unveils the euphoric synthy lead that drives the track towards its epic climax in true Dutch Trance style. The top duo Walsh & McAuley reshape and rework the original in their own uplifting trance direction. The breakdown is very cinematic, melodramatic and very atmospheric too. Of course the revelation of the huge synthy lead will blow the speakers and smash your soundsystems. The climax is full on colorful euphoria with the unforgettable melodic theme on top raising the hair from your back and energise your tired body. Lastly the well known progressive trance producer Hazem Beltagui service his excellent version that is packed with energy, relentlessly building beats and basslines while the synthy melodies create the dreamy magical soundscape. Romantic sweet piano melody introduce the breakdown that slowly brings to the surface the addictive rave style distorted synthy lead. Hands in the air climax with groovy rhythm, euphoric synths and beautiful piano too. Highly recommended. Love IT
