A head-spinning summer has seen the Sydney-originating duo of Gabriel Winterfield and Jono Ma win fans from all quarters with shows across the UK, Australia and Japan, the addition of singles ‘The Throw’ and ‘Man I Need’ to the BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music playlists, triumphant shows at Glastonbury and Splendour In The Grass Festival back home in Australia.
With further select festival dates coming up at Reading and Leeds, Bestival, Unknown (Croatia) and Festival No.6, Jagwar Ma now announce third album single 'Come Save Me'. The duo's very first recording, born on a sleepless night of spontaneous jamming and ending up being released as a limited 7" on the Blue Rider label in 2012 as well as being embraced by Triple-J radio in Australia, its effortlessly era-spanning radiance fuses the vocal sweetness of Laurel Canyon and Carl Wilson with the electronic space of the past 40 years and lyrics that celebrate love and loss.
The single comes with heavy-hitting remixes from legendary UK producer and dance culture godfather Andrew Weatherall as well as Kompakt mainstays Pachanga Boys.
The next few months also see the band heading for their first dates in the USA before returning to play their biggest headline performances to date in the UK, with shows at London's Scala and Manchester's Gorilla already sold out well in advance, followed by a full European tour, including Pitchfork Festival in Paris.
