With Patrick Hagenaar's first "Undutchable EP" on the Magik Muzik imprint still in the back of our minds, the Dutch DJ/Producer now presents his new vocal single "Magik", in which he teams up with singer/songwriter Sarah McLeod.
Patrick's biography condenses his decade long career in a very straightforward fashion, stating: “with DJ gigs across the globe , a weekly worldwide radio show and DJ’s such as David Guetta, Axwell & Erick Morillo using his tracks and remixes as their floor destroyers, alongside chart topping productions released with major dance labels around the world, Patrick Hagenaar is a fast rising Dutch star that can’t seem to do wrong!” Back in 1999, Patrick moved to London to start off his DJ career. Since then he became a major player in the dance industry. Returning to the Magik Muzik imprint for his new single "Magik", Patrick Hagenaar adds another sure shot to his career.
Sarah McLeod is the former front woman of Australian rock band The Superjesus. Sarah is one of the best recognized women in the Australian music scene and is known for her enthusiastic and unique stage presence. She already has three ARIA awards and over 300,000 record sales to her name and has featured as vocalist on a wide variety of electronic dance hits.
"Magik" opens the doors for some tight and truly symphonic vocal trance. With an elaborate composition of big synths, the track takes no shorts and takes the audience on the dance floor on an almost ISOS sounding trip. Thomas Penton & Re-Zone rearranged the original into a more trance induced piece of work, making "Magik" one to watch this season.

The latest one comes from the hands of the Dutch upcoming dj & producer Patrick Hagenaar who works with the magnificent Sarah Mc Leod for the huge Magik that will be one of the huge peak time main stage monster summer anthems. The vocal club remix is an excellent euphoric progressive house banger with electro infusions and tight percussion to feel it deep inside. With punchy basslines and hi-nrg euphoric synths will be impossible not to feel the Magik radiating all over the place. Sarah is one of my favourite singers and she proves on this one that she can always stand out and shine for sure. Thomas Penton & Re-Zone Remix transform the already top original into a massive hands in the air euphoric electro house meets epic prog house smasher with rough and raw basslines with traces of hard dance in them, pumping and solid beats and feel good pop touched melodies. The application of the vocal is the finest you can hear as Sarah shines on top and will be easy to start sing a long with her. I can imagine the dj turning down the volume and the crowd singing loud the lyrics. There is an instrumental version as well for those who don't feel comfortable with vocals.
