REVIEW: Orjan Nilsen - XIING incl official music video out on Armind /Armada

1.XIING (Original Mix)

Premiered in Armin van Buuren’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Orjan Nilsen’s had the globe taking an extra spin to the sounds of ‘XIING’. Following the four-weeks Beatport #1 Trance chart smash of ‘Violetta’, is the third single of Nilsen’s upcoming artist album.

The only direction Orjan Nilsen’s headed, is up. Currently in the final stages of producing the highly-anticipated successor of ‘In My Opinion’, Norway’s most talented producer presents another pre-taste.

And as usual with any Orjan tune, minds will be blown, feet will go sore and ears will be treated to the mighty sound of ‘XIING’!

Dimitri Kechagias review: When you notice on the record sleeve the logo with that little angel on the cloud listening with the headphones some god sent music you can be rest assured that the content will be heaven sent. Armind is the label of the 5 times  number 1 dj Armin van Buuren who has that ability to be so down to earth and be so special in the hearts of many fans worldwide. Armind proudly presents the Violetta follow up of the one and only Orjan Nilsen. The wait is over and XING landed with BIG BOOM. Once again the beloved producer is open minded eclectic, unconventional and creative as we love him to be. XING is going to be another Beatport number 1 and if you hear it once you can easily understand the reasons why? XING is a playful blend of orient style melodies, techy chunky grungy beats and driving deep electro kissed basslines. Short breakdown for the distorted vocal to appear and carry on forward with it towards the big breakdown. The complete silence stops when the electronic synthy melody comes to the surface to excite your senses. The main melody is so hooky and epic that you feel energised from the very first moments you hear it and you want to start whistle it. When the cracking beat strikes back the track reach its huge climax with that excellent melody on top   for the much needed hands in the air moment. It will be played on wide variety of sets from trance to progressive house. Orjan Nilsen has put his big stamp of EDM for sure. Love IT!
