“Girlz & Boyz” is Frankie’s debut LP, at 45, after releasing countless 12”s on various Labels (Crosstown Rebels, Hyper Color, Turbo Rec., Internasjonal Funkhaus Music) under various monikers (Audio Royal, Hybrid Funk).
For those who are not yet familar to his work - expect nothing less than a stunnning eclectic mix of soul, funk, techno, jazz and deep house music!!

The plans of recording his own LP materialised years ago when he re-started the Funkhaus imprint. "I begun recording again and within a span of 4 years, I managed to get some musicians together, brought them to the studio and just recorded. I just recorded anything which sounded good. And I wanted honest music."

About Frankie Flowerz
His sound signature can be heard on various labels such as CrosstownRebels, Turbo, Funkhaus,Hypercolour,Internasojnal and most recently on Om Records;his style is an eclectic mix of soul,funk,techno,jazz and deep house music.
Mohan records under the monikers Frankie Flowerz, Audio Royal, Das Deva, 2 Dawgs,Hybrid Funk and Mohan Das.
Having been on the DJ circuit for a good 24 years, Mohan has either supported /opened for/played in a party with Kenny Dixon Jr(Moodymann), Theo Parrish,Trentemoeller,Laurent Garnier ,LTJ Bukem, Etienne de Crecy, George Morel (Germany tour during the Coke Dj Culture in 2002)and played in the coke DJ Culture Tent in the Sonne , Mond ,Sterne Festival 2006 which featured Carl Craig, Afrika Bambaata,Kevin Saunderson , James Zabiella etc.
Mohan also throws his own parties( (EU clubnight Parties,3 Men on 4 Decks; Little Asia in Big Berlin etc)and organises Funkhaus Label Nights where he brings in global players.
“My main influences over the past decade are deep house, techno and loads of soul,old skool hip-hop,proper 60ties & 7oties R&B ,disco and funk, as ALWAYS!
In 2005 he organised and held the first ever Tsunami Benefit ( 2 days) in co-operation with UNICEF and NO-Ufo’s in Berlin.
All door collections were donated to victims of the catastrophe, mainly children in Sri Lanka.
Frankie Flowerz or Mohan as most know him, plays disco,house,electro and techno - apart from that he also loves playing PROPER soul, funk ,jazz and downtempo.;.expect to hear the oldskool,newskool and the future sounds in his dj sets.
