Tellur & Sound Quelle have their debut on Alter Ego Records with the outstanding Tequelle, for release ninety-six.
Tequelle is a moody and aggressive number with a gripping bassline, crisp driving percussion, big room stabs, a gorgeous yet haunting vocal and a theme to die for! The Russians serve up a complete floor monster for their first outing!
The intro is dictated by the fierce bassline which ripples and teases into a bittersweet breakdown, where the theme comes out to play with dreamy plucks and vocal harmonics! There is a great tension building section leading up to the climax where Tellur & Sound Quelle do the dirty and keep the climax, filthy and minimal! Don't miss this one!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego records never rests to its success and continues to bring in your face material. The latest one is by the talented Russians Tellur & Sound Quelle. Their track Tequelle is modern trance at its very best. It combines rough, raw and spooky weird electro kissed basslines upon tribalish bumping beats. The breakdown is a tottaly different affair as the ethereal melodies come to the surface to uplift your spirit with heavenly style female vocals, cinematic atmosphere and large synths to raise the hair from your back. The main section avoids the temptation to go all melodic and sweet and continues techy, rough and bass focused. If you like a monster tune in your magic hat pick this little dinosaur. Love iT!
