Kenneth Thomas takes his sound to the next level with the long awaited launch of his own imprint IAMPHOENIX!
After months in the works, we are extremely proud to launch this new label with one of Kenneths' best tracks to date, A massive lead driven anthem, These Chords.
With an audacious name like "These Chords" you know the track has big shoes to fill, and it does! From the massive breakdown leads to hands-in-the-air drop and stunning percussion fills, this track has been opening and closing sets for Kenneth for months.
First up to compliment the release package, Jake Shanahan from Hardwells' Revealed and Trice Recordings keeps the chords in-tact yet takes the production into the world of big room progressive house. This mix coasts into festival style progressive then takes a dark wicked turn with a nasty drop reminiscent to the massive hit from Nari & Milani - Atom.
And rounding out the package, LA newcomer Mark Keyo delivers a lush progressive-trance mix with warm baselines and great other-worldly production.
IAMPHOENIX comes out swinging with this extremely well rounded and to the point release. We hope we have your attention and your support, now and for years to come!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Kenneth Thomas starts his own record label IAMPHOENIX with his own excellent track These Chords. The original mix is a superb melodic progressive trance meets prog house beauty with mesmerizing melodies, melancholic piano chords and euphoric synthy stabs that drive the track to its hands in the air climax. If you wish to add some colour and feelgood vibes in your set this track is what you are looking for. Jake Shanahan is on the lips of everybody at the moment and once again he proves the reason. He transforms the original track into a massive full on epic prog house cracker with punchy raw basslines and uplifting synths to die for. His remix is a sure club weapon that stadium size audiences will like for sure. Effective and straight to its point provides big dose of pure joy. Mark Keyo remix is moving on the same hands in the air mainstage style with more focus on the melodic content that is highlighted even more to cause mayhem and uncontrollable reactions on the dancefloors. Very melodic, emotional, energetic and danceable at the same time. Good luck to Kenneth Thomas for his new label. Love iT!
