REVIEW: Dinka - Closer EP out on Unreleased Digital/Sirup Music

Swiss born DINKA takes another enormous step for her irresistible career. This fabulous new 4 track EP leaves nothing to be desired and is, in our opinion, one of the strongest EPs we at UNRELEASED DIGITAL have had the honor to release.

Title track NEVER LET GO is nothing short of a sensational festival anthem that is sure to see widespread dance floor destruction this year and beyond. Built on delicious pads and synth layers that drop in surprisingly after an orchestral break down. Irish singer and songwriter JAMES DARCY lays down some awesome vocals that really complement the production and add a warmth and "sophisticated" sentimentality to the track.

Second title track CLOSER is another very strong progressive house peak hour weapon that convinces with wide and powerful new wave chords. But still, Dinka worked out her uniqueness in a dreamy breakdown section, with some 80s like beat patterns underneath low-pass filtered chords and a touchy arpeggio texture.

FACES OF BENGALIA follows Dinka's successful and unique style of music. This ornate and melodic progressive gem invites us to lay back, close our eyes and dive into a world of magic and wizardry. It's a breath-taking moment, augmented by the gorgeous delayed vox and lead synth lines that fill out the soundscape. In the drop, the central groove teasingly returns with just a kick and bass construction supported by some jazzy chord lines, followed soon thereafter by the arrival of the full rhythm in full, anthemic force.

We're closing the EP with SPRING VALLEY: Yet another masterpiece of downbeat music, mixed up with some modern Dubstep drum elements. The melody sweeping up in the drops is just breath-taking, as well as the synth scape environment that builds the harmonic base.

The way Dinka combines modern club music with chill out, world and classical music elements brought her a wide diverse of fans from all around the globe. This EP is just another cherished treasure to add to the already impressive Dinka vault.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  DINKA, the Swiss Queen of Progressive as her fans worldwide called her presents another exceptional EP that will win your heart, mind and soul straight away. Closer EP includes 4 magnificent  tracks  on wide variety of styles. First of all Never Let Me Go is a superb slice   of epic progressive house at its very best perfect to play in Big Rooms and open air festivals. James Darcy is a brand new name in the scene with great vocals that have that indie rock edge that audience seems to like at the moment particularly in USA. The pumping tribal beats and  the  rough energetic basslines are combined perfectly with the beautiful summery influenced melancholic melodies in the breakdown and the huge epic synthy stabs in the full on hands in the air climax. Exceptional production that shines with the word quality written all over it. Every sound layer well timed in order to bring the maximum of satisfaction on the floors. Closer is the 2nd track on this EP that combines the feel good summery dreamy melodies of DINKA with huge euphoric synthy stabs in the massive climax to bring destruction on any dj set. Opera like vocals in the breakdown and ambient loungy sound effects along with  cool  house diva female vocals to ensure that anyone will dance along and nobody will stand still when this will be on. Faces of Bengalia  is  the third track on the EP and is the one that follows the classic DINKA style. Dreamy, relaxing and soothing melodies along with euphoric synths will uplift your mind straight away and when the beat returns it takes you on board for a nice  ride through the best memories of your life. Perfect to play in your warm up part of your set and  create the right deep and inspirational atmosphere. Lastly Spring Valley  is the fantastic chill out track with breaks style beats, lounge sounds, and hypnotic melodies to cool down the proceedings and help you land back home after an enjoyable uplifting flight. That's what I call Progressive House Music with different and unique approach. Don't miss IT!, Love iT!
