REVIEW: Walsh & McAuley - Someday out on Touchstone recordings

1. Original Mix
2. Hazem Beltagui Remix

Our 11th release on Touchstone Recordings comes from label favorites Walsh & McAuley whose previous outing ‘Sail On The Waves’ tore up dance floors worldwide back in November last year. ‘Someday’ fits neatly into Solarstone’s #PureTrance sound, a beautiful melodic and simple piece of trance music destined for the more discerning trance-floors. The lead line introduced at the break pushes all the right buttons and should guarantee a generous helping of goose bumps. Hazem Beltagui provides the remix, staying faithful to the Original’s blueprint; Hazem ups the tempo a little and injects a little peak time octane into the proceedings. An extended breakbeat driven breakdown holds back on the lead riff creating huge tension – leading to a payoff to die for. Stunning.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Whenever I receive a brand new piece of music from Walsh and Mc Calley I must abandon whatever I am doing to put my headphones on and listen carefully what they have cooked in their studio. Their brand new track is the return to the big instrumental trance sounds away from their previous magnificent vocal attempt. Someday is what someone can easily describe as simple pure trance sound without too much hassle and new revolutionary ideas to change the world. Its rather real honest trance with most important factor of success the memorable melodic theme that has that "let's fly away" element. Its floating, grabs your attention and never let you go if you don't let your inhibitions away and start nodding your head for start and jumping and wobbling for its big euphoric climax. Of course some acid overtones are present as well to connect the track to more psy trance underground audiences. Hazem Beltagui from his side moves to a much more upfront direction following the guidelines set from the original but publishing them one step further and higher. The dreamy creamy breakdown with the relaxing breaks part and then the full on hands in the air climax will keep any real pure trance lover happy and completely safe on the hands of a label that is here to service great trance tracks. Love iT!
