Dimitri Kechagias review: The very exciting deep progressive label Discover Deep returns in 2013 with the exceptional Matt Holliday production Deeper Intelligence. The Original mix is a 9 minutes trance music mental trip that includes great bouncy percussion, deep and dark basslines and full on euphoric synths on top along with heavenly voices in order to create that filmic soundscape that invites the listener to inhabit and experience mind sensations and mind pleasures that only solid compositions like this one can offer. On the other hand Peter Hulsmans' Mental Score mix is a much more upfront transformation of the original with driving basslines, energetic beats and amazing cinematic and very atmospheric breakdown. His climax moves on the same direction like his first part with cool progression of the melodic theme and continuous relentless build up in order to create that fly in the sky atmosphere. It reminds the first trance tracks of the EYE Q era with focus on the great hypnotic atmosphere and less on gimmicks and effects. Trance-fantastic release. Love iT!
