After 20 years, he appeared again on the cover of 2006's first EP "Teddy Boy" and he has been playing as a zombie with glowing red eyes on the loose in the electro world. The beloved Ferrari is obviously repaired and so Kavinsky is cruising along to the dance floors of the world with fat electro bangers in the trunk of his Testa Rossa.
Kavinsky was created by Vincent Belorgey, French electro mastermind buddy of Justice, Daft Punk and Mr. Oizo. 22.02.2013 the debut album "Outrun" will be released including the cultural highlights of the eighties such as zombies, comics, sexy cars, horror scenarios, synthesizers, video games ... welcome to the world of Kavinsky!
For early 2013 Kavinksy has now scheduled the release of his retro-futuristic electro-sweeping blow on album length: For months, the zombie entrenched in the studio to finish work on his album "Outrun". The current single "ProtoVision" offers a clue what 22nd of February hold for us from Kavinsky, and that can only be Electro at its finest.
The vocal version, "Protovision - Red Sky Mix feat. Sugar Tongue Slim, "provides the perfect introduction to the world of 80's zombie Kavinsky. French Electro meets Southern Flow and the result is a dynamic Power Track.
With Sugar Tongue Slim aka STS from Philadelphia, Kavinsky has won on board one of the American underground discoveries of recent years . None other than Eminem is a big fan of STS and took him to Shady Records in the U.S. under contract. Sugar Tongue Slim is currently working hard on a promising debut album.
