Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego Progressive is back on the spotlight with the exceptional EP by the Russian dj and producer EDU with his 3 tracks EP called Evil Inside. As it seems 2013 is the year that EDU will see its career take off big time. The main reason is that he has the ability to produce his own unique progressive trance sound that is mature and most importantly is EDU 100%. The title track Evil Inside is a driving energetic pumping progressive trancer with house influences. His breakdown is long and teasing perfect to raise the tension to the maximum. When the beat comes the track moves to its main part in the same energetic deep but punchy sound. Tabula Rasa is following the same deep and dark delicious route but with more electro influences in it. The breakdown reveals a huge synthy lead that performs the dreamy epic melody that will blow your mind and will keep the clubbers jumping as they are getting prepared for the full on climax. Hypnotic and cinematic is definitely a wonderful soundscape to inhabit. Lastly Red Planet gives you the impression that is faster and more energetic than the other two tracks. Ethereal voices on top of the fast moving tribal progressive trance beat and the full on club shaking bassline. The breakdown will leave the listeners speechless with its magnificent magical vocal samples, the great deeply touching strings and the driving basslines.
